The choice of 6 single band filters is designed with a serious contest multi-operator station in mind! Each of these bandpass filters pass only the listed frequency segments for which they are tuned, blocking all frequencies above and below the passband. Use bandpass filters set anywhere that critical single band performance is required, or where nearby transmitting stations cause interference to needed communications, such as multi-operators station, DXpedition or SO2R operation.
BPF Luxury filters, unlike the "BPF Standart" -series, designed in slightly different configuration, providing the additional L-C section attenuating the lower adjacent band (major competitors brands offers it only on 28MHz). Also, BPF-Luxury utilizing the top-high quality iron powder materials by Micrometalls, Inc., which significantly improves the performance of the filters, particularly the insertion loss and adjacent band attenuation.
Each kit includes 6 filters: BPF-1.8, BPF-3.5, BPF-7, BPF-14, BPF-21, BPF-28 ( for 1.8, 3.5, 7, 14, 21 and 28 MHz respectively). The filters should be installed between the transceiver and amplifier utilizing the SO-239 connectors, provide a tremendous interference attenuation to/from the stations operating in the other bands.
Each BPF kit supplied with the data on insertion loss (S21) and return loss (S11) parameters (measured by Vector Network Analyzer), frequency response graph and VSWR. These plots show the most detailed characteristics of each particular filter.
